Hear musician Dizraeli, poet Abby Oliveira and beatboxer Testament perform spoken word about bread, flax and hedgerows at the Oxford Real Farming Conference.
Three of the incredible Hot Poets who have contributed to We Feed The UK are taking to the stage at ORFC to share stories of regenerative farming.
Testament’s words tell a tale of wild corridors in Cumbria,
Abby Oliveira shares how Irish flax is weaving its way back into local supply chains, and Dizraeli spins a story of diverse wheats in Somerset being baked into fresh loaves.
The trio will perform a unique medley of their We Feed The UK poems in the (live-streamed) opening plenary on Thursday morning, with an evening slam featuring the individual poems in full plus more of their fantastic work.
At the evening performance, the Hot Poets will be joined on stage by the regenerative farmers who inspired them, to chew over the impact emerging from these radical collaborations.
Hot Poets is an award-winning arts organisation, working in the highest levels and deepest roots of the climate space to powerfully communicate climate change science and action through spoken word poetry. These world-class regional poets proudly reflect the broad diversity of voices and communities of We Feed The UK.
